Ο Πέτρος Κοτζαμπάσης είναι ερασιτέχνης φωτογράφος, γεννήθηκε στην Κομοτηνή το 1967 όπου και κατοικεί. Ασχολείται με την «καλλιτεχνική» φωτογραφία από το 1985 και έχει λάβει μέρος σε αρκετές ομαδικές εκθέσεις. Είναι μέλος του φωτογραφικού κέντρου βορείου Ελλάδος καθώς και του συλλόγου καλλιτεχνών «Αθηνίων». Ο άνθρωπος είναι το κυρίως θέμα των φωτογραφιών του, ένας άνθρωπος καθημερινός και συνηθισμένος που παίρνει αξία φωτογραφική με την βοήθεια των σχημάτων, γραμμών και σκιών, όπως επίσης και από την σύνθεση, την διάταξη δηλαδή των αντικειμένων στο χώρο.
Petros Kotzabasis is an amateur photographer. He was born in Komotini-Greece in the year 1967 and he is living there. He is occupied with the artistic photography since 1985 and he has been participated in some mass exhibitions. He is a member of Photography Center of North Greece and of the Club of Artistics called “Athinion” , too. The main subject of his photographies is people, any person of our daily life, who takes the appropriate photographic value, with the aid of the shapes, the lines and the shadows, as much as, through the composition, which means the site where the subjects have been placed in space.
